Our community’s EmployerOne survey marked its 5th year this past January.
Employers from across Brantford, Brant County, Haldimand County, Norfolk County, Six Nations and New Credit told us about their hiring in 2017 and their hiring plans for 2018, while getting into more detail about what occupations they hired, what jobs are hard to fill and more than a dozen other key pieces of local information.
In all, 433 businesses and organizations shared their information, giving the Grand Erie community invaluable insight into workforce trends, issues and challenges. Of the surveys, more than 330 were completed in January 2018, while the other 100 came from a face-to-face version completed in the summer of 2017.
The report pictured right summarizes the results of the survey. Click on the report to read or download.
The Workforce Planning Board has also produced Spotlights that have more detailed information for 8 key sectors of the Grand Erie economy. You can find these reports (in PowerPoint format) on our EmployerOne Page.
EmployerOne is a truly community effort, with some two dozen organizations sharing it with employers.
We thank all employers who participated. We welcome comments and feedback. We also encourage employers to let us know they wish to fill out the next EmployerOne survey, taking place in January 2019.
