• Process Operator - Power

  Industrial Voluntary Certification

  Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

  Training Hours: Complete 6,480 hours of on-the-job training and 720 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.

  Power process operators monitor and run processing equipment, using hand tools and measuring devices to maintain temperature and pressure levels in the power plant. They must know how to dispose of hazardous materials, write work orders, maintain log books, and monitor control panels.
