The Workforce Planning Board has written two guides: An Employer’s Guide to Experiential Learning and the Experiential Learning Guide for Parents and Families. The guides are intended to educate parents, families and individuals about the types of experiential learning that exist in Grand Erie and how employers may make them part of their recruitment strategies. The concept of experiential learning recognizes that people tend to learn more by “doing” than by reading or listening.
