This minor group includes physicians, dentists and veterinarians. They work in private practice; and are employed by hospitals, clinics, and public health facilities; animal clinics, and farms; laboratories, universities, and government; and in industry.

This minor group includes such health diagnosing and treating professionals as optometrists, chiropractors, midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, naturopaths, orthoptists, osteopaths, podiatrists, chiropodists, and in podiatric medicine. They work in private practice; and are employed by clinics, hospitals, community health centres, rehabilitation centres, and birthing centres.

This minor group includes pharmacists, dietitians and nutritionists. They are employed by retail and hospital pharmacies, home health-care agencies, extended care facilities, and community health centres; pharmaceutical companies; educational institutions, sports organizations, and government departments and agencies; in the pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries; or they may be self-employed.

This minor group includes audiologists, speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other medical therapists. They are employed by hospitals, community and public health centres, extended care and health care facilities, nursing homes, clinics, rehabilitation and recreational centres, and private and social services agencies; educational institutions, and sports organizations; in industry; or they may be self-employed.
