Occupations in front-line public protection services

This major group comprises occupations in government services that require some combination of secondary or post-secondary education and occupation-specific training and that have significant health and safety responsibilities. It includes police officers (except commissioned), firefighters and non-commissioned members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
